Everyone has a story, everyone is a protagonist. Right? No, that would be quite ridiculous. We don't follow every life in a story. After all, a good story needs villains; an evil Queen must be dethroned. A dark knight has to be defeated and that man eating wolf really should be killed before it eats another grandmother; and for pity's sake will someone deal with the witch that keeps luring children into her gingerbread house?
Then of course there are those who are neither heroes or villains in their story. The little match girl who dies in the snow, the dead parents who get offed because their child is the chosen one, and the cousin who cannot pull the sword from the stone because he was not.
Not everyone gets a happy ending, but wouldn't you like to change that?
